• Students who enroll in the Advanced Metal Processing can earn certificates in the following areas of welding issued by the American Welding Society:

o Welding Safety
o Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)
o Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
o Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)
o Welding Discontinuities
o Visual Welding Inspection

Manufacturing Skills Standards 

IMT Pre-Apprenticeship Program Students who enroll in the Wood and/or Metal Material Processing Courses have the opportunity to earn certifications from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry. Earning these certificates provides students the opportunity to enroll in a manufacturing based paid internship along with earning college credits from local post-secondary institutions.
• The IMT Pre-Apprenticeship Program takes 45 hours of virtual classroom instruction from the apprenticeship program and brings it to the high school level. This virtual classroom instruction includes 2 modules Safety and Quality from Manufacturing Standards Skill Council 's (MSSC) Certified Production Technician 4.0 (CPT).
• Students who complete both modules by passing the proctored exams will receive 3 certifications, and 45-hours advanced standing in IMT Apprenticeship Program
• After students complete this program, they can move onto the next program and work through modules 3 and 4 to then potentially receive their full CPT certification. Advanced IMT Pre-Apprenticeship Program
• The Advanced IMT Pre-Apprenticeship Program takes 45 hours of virtual classroom instruction from the apprenticeship program and brings it to the high school level. This virtual classroom instruction includes 2 modules Manufacturing Processes and Production and Maintenance Awareness from Manufacturing Standards Skill Council 's (MSSC) Certified Production Technician 4.0 (CPT).
• Students who complete both modules by passing the proctored exams will receive 3 certifications, and 45-hours advanced standing in IMT Apprenticeship Program.
